She's all grown up...or so she thinks! We started out the day with breakfast at her favorite place to eat - McDonalds. Then headed out to get some new dance clothes. She finally gets to start dance lessons now that she's so old. We all came home and had birthday cupcakes before daddy had to go to work. After a much needed naptime, we went over to Grammie's house for pizza (her other favorite food) and more cake and ice cream. She played until bedtime and then came home and fell asleep in about 5 minutes. Fun day!
Cute kids playing in the yard. The last three show Bubba's progression of climbing on things he know's he's not supposed to. Notice the look in #8. Translation: "I think you're far enough away that I can get away with this."
*Quick sidenote: I did NOT hack Emily's bangs. Nana decided to try her hand at hairdressing. While Emily was asleep. Yep. Never a dull moment here...
Quick Rundown
Here's some of the ongoings at the Ramirez household over the last month...
Emily had her first dance recital at the Clarke Center here in A.G. After weeks of practice, rehersals, and dress rehersal, she finally got her 3 minutes of fame. And, oh my goodness, was it hilarious.
I'm going to try to get a video on here pretty soon, but for now, here's a couple pictures of our soon-to-be-famous ballerina. Complete with (after the OK from daddy of course) stage make-up, and in her bunny outfit.
On my husband's day off last week the kids were a little restless and I didn't want to cook. We grabbed a pizza and headed over to the park. It was a nice break from the usual (and from cleaning up dishes!)
