Baby update

Friday was my first appointment with the midwives. Baby #4 is doing great. I'm about 9 weeks along and the due date (for now anyways, you know how they change those) is Sepetmber 4th. No morning sickness to speak of, and overall I haven't been too tired either. Praise God! We all know how cranky I am without enough sleep. And, once again, we will be waiting the whole nine months to find out the sex. I think it's more fun that way.

So, that's it. I'll let you know if anything interesting happens, probably not till September. :)

Meet Ella.

This is Ella. Gianna's counterpart; her personality twin. And although you can't get much cuter than these two, I think I know why God usually only puts one per family. :)

Teatime

The girls went over to my mom's and had tea complete with tiny peices of toast & jam. While they were playing teaparty, Bubba sat on the couch in is underwear and played with the remote. Go figure.

Scenery

The rain stopped for a couple days. It's beautiffully clear outside and back to the normal 60 degree winter weather. :)

R.I.P.

Here lies more money than I will admit to spendng this year on a decoration used only a month or so and then left out to sit, as it has for a week, next to our trash-cans to die a slow death of dehydration before being carted off to the burn pile for it's cremation. If I didn't love Christmas so much - trees included - I would vow never to spend the money on such a short-lived decoration again. But I do, and next year, as always, we will have another (although hopefully less expensive) tree.

It rained buckets over the weekend. The kids have been tired of being cooped up in the house, so we finally let them outside at my mom's house. It was still raining outside, but it's funny that kids never seem to mind the weather as long as they get to play.

Not quite snow...

I think I'd rather shovel snow out of my yard in Winter than have to keep picking up after the eucalyptus trees that live across the street. Talk about messy neighbors! We had a pretty big rain yesterday and the winds got up to about 30mph. We had huge chunks of bark, leaves and acorns raining down on the street and in the yards all day. The shots below were taken after the bulldozers came through to clear the street of all the debris and make it driveable again.

The Second annual New Years Day "Chili Bowl" was held at Strother park again this year. We got most of the game on the camcorder, but when the battery died at the fourth quarter, I grabbed my camera to try to get some pictures. Everyone had fun and there was some awesome homeade elk chili after the game (thanks dad!). Here's some of the shots I ended up with. :)
